This product is another outcome of an interesting and happy "accident". We released the first version of this product in the original men's version some time ago, the ladies at retailer Tropa Store started wearing the smaller-sized ones, customers saw this and they git snapped up. And thus was the request for us to make more - and for women - we confess and are proud to say that this is our first foray into a real women-only fit - with a smaller waist, and accentuated hips and seat.
The LD1937 Army Work Pants. Our version of the M1937 US Army work trousers make use of 10 oz. POW repro denim from Collect Japan. Distinctive wide and deep pockets, contrast stitching, US Army buttons, a fuller fit and other details make for classic and enduring article of clothing. Instead of the typical yoke at the back seat of the trousers, the rear panels are joined directly to the waistband. In addition to the belt loops, the fit is secured via a cinch, using real vintage 1930s NOS Solide cinch buckles from France. Despite the onset of herringbone twill for work fatigues, this denim styling remained popular post WWII.
Sizing advice - How to get your Léon size for this product (refer to the Size Chart):
Measure a favourite pair of jeans or trousers flat, with waistband buttoned. Using a measuring tape, measure the base of the waistband from end-to-end and get the reading in inches. Multiply this by 2, and deduct 2 inches – this is the Léon tag size.
