This garment takes its inspiration from the French "bleu de travail" (literally translated as "workman's blues"), a term typically pertaining to French workers' clothing fromn the late 1800s, and now more so this particular kind of jacket. This is the quintessential utilitarian jacket - worn loose, with cuffs buttoned or sleeves rolled up, and with several pockets for easy storage.
Our avid passion for workwear couldn't be fully expressed without us coming up with a version of this classic. The indigo on the fabric is guaranteed to fade to a lovely blue hue over time.
