This denim jacket has its roots from the early 20th century but formally introduced in this design from the early 1950s. Originally intended then as a hardy work jacket for blue collar workers, it is now considered as a certified classic and wardrobe staple.
This is our modern version in 16 oz. deadstock red selvedge twill in natural. This Type 2 jacket has 2 symmetrical chest pockets, 1 inner breast pocket, front placket pleats, waistband flaps to allow for adjustment, aluminum buttons, and copper rivets at key reinforcement areas.
