We bring back an underground favourite with this LD Type 2 WW2 Jacket, and this version is in a new 13.5 oz. one-washed denim from Collect Japan.
Undoubtedly one of the most classic and iconic denim jackets ever designed, it is characterized by a looser, boxy fit, front placket pleats, single breast pocket, and cinch buckle and strap at the back. Called thus because during WW2, the design was simplified vs. earlier versions to save on materials and cost - the breast pocket does not have a flap where there was one, the buttons were reduced from 5 to only 4, and made use of donut buttons with a design of intertwined laurel leaves that signifies peace.
