Presenting the LD Rambler, our 2nd spin on the ubiquitous utilitarian staple that are double knee trousers.
Harking back to its roots from workwear, the Rambler comes with the trademark double knee panels that are sewn in for its intended purpose - protection to the wearer and added durability to the garment. But this design has taken a life of its own and is now worn for whatever reason. Adopted by many in workwear, casual and streetstyle, by motorcycle riders. And very many others.
16.oz. midweight, one-washed deadstock selvedge denim with gold line selvedge ID
Double knee panels
Pure cotton threads
Leather patch made of shrunken cowhide
Copper rivets, and hidden rivets
and a nifty touch, the double panels have slots which can fit a regular-sized mobile phone or other small items securely (see 4th photo).
Huge thanks to none other than Kim Atenza himself who is the inspiration for this product, and was developed upon his request. And even went further by field-testing it for a couple of months prior to release. He says he's happy with the outcome - and so if it's good enough for the connoisseur that is him, then it's good enough for us. And hopefully for you all, too!
Sizes 30-36 are readily available for purchase in the webstore (see sizing chart); Sizes 28 and 29 are MTO (please get in touch with us for these sizes).
